Study Process

The Pulaski Road Project is a three-phase development process, as shown above. The project team is currently in Phase I: Preliminary Engineering and Environmental Study. After the completion of Phase I, the project team will identify and pursue funding for Phase II: Contract Plan Preparation and Land Acquisition and then Phase III: Construction. It is important to note that the construction stage of this project may include a phased approach incorporating multiple construction contracts.

Phase I of this study was initiated in early 2020 and is anticipated to be completed in late 2025. During this time, the project team is working closely with municipalities, the Corridor Advisory Committee and community members to review current conditions and needs in the corridor, develop improvement alternatives, and determine a preferred improvement alternative. Public input is welcome throughout the study. A public survey and two public information meetings (format to be determined pending in-person meeting guidance and State policies) will be held during the Phase I process. All meeting materials will be posted in the Get Involved section.
